Our range of emergency & conservation vents are placed on the top of flammable liquid storage tank, which are used for relieving unnecessary internal pressure caused by the exposure of the tank to fire. Explosions induced by such conditions may be avoided by offering adequate emergency relief vents that permits the vapors to escape from the tank. These emergency vents consist of pallet assemblies, which are slanted to be closed under normal pressure conditions and only open when a preset pressure is attained, that helps in relieving the abnormal volume of vapor generated under the fire condition.

FLUIDYNE Excess Flow Check Valve also called FLUIDYNE Burst Control Valve or FLUIDYNE Hose Safety Check Valve or FLUIDYNE Velocity Check Valve. The valve has a sliding poppet within a chamber with an orifice at one end, wherein the closing flow rate settings can be adjusted. Precise adjustments can be made externally by turning an adjustment nut against a threaded screw extending at the end of the valve which causes a poppet to move within the chamber. As the poppet is urged toward the retainer by a coiled spring, the poppet is moved longitudinally within the chamber, either toward or away from the orifice. Turning the threaded nut enables to adjust the tension on the spring and therefore, the threshold flow rate of the valve could be precisely set.
The valves operate by using the pressure differential across the valve to operate the poppet and spring assembly. The pressure differential is directly related to the flow of (SCFM) through the valve. When the pressure differential is within the operating limits - below the cutoff flow - of the unit, the force on the valve exerted by the spring is greater than that caused by the pressure differential the valve remains open and normal operation continues. When the pressure differential is above the cutoff limit, the force on the valve poppet exerted by the pressure differential is greater than the force exerted by the spring, and the valve closes. After the repairs to the line are made, normal operation is automatically enabled when the pressure across the valve equalizes through the bleeder hole.
The valve spring size can be specified by determining the air flow during normal operation and by estimating the flow if a failure or rupture occurs. FLUIDYNE Excess Flow Check Valve is used in filling lines and protects the system against excess flow rates and safely shuts off the flow due to hose bursts or excessive leakages downstream of the valve. FLUIDYNE Excess Flow Check Valves are available in Standard Sandwich types suitable for mounting between a pair of flanges and also flanged screwed or butt weld connections types as per client requirements.

For measuring the user simply need to dip the stick in the tank and the fuel level can be read off against the calibrated scale on the side of the dip stick.

Operation Flame Arrestors, detonation flame arrestors, detonation arrestors, flame detonation arrestors stop the propagation of a flame by absorbing and dissipating heat through the large surface area of the bank sheets. Ignited vapour attempting to pass through the arrestor is forced through small passages within the bank assembly. Heat is absorbed, lowering the temperature of the gas below its ignition point and quenching the flame.
Flame Arresters are typically used in the chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries on applications such as storage tank facilities, flare stacks, incineration systems, storage tank roofs or digester converter to prevent the propagation of confined and unconfined deflagrations. Detonation Flame Arresters additionally stop the high pressures and velocities that can result in detonations. In case of ignition of vapours, they burn harmlessly at the flame arrestor, preventing ignition of vapours in the tank and subsequent explosion.

Design Features

The large channel openings provide excellent pressure drop to flow and enhanced flow characteristics often resulting in reducing overall size and cost of both Flame arrestor and piping. In addition to this, the less restrictive nature of the larger channel openings results in less clogging and easier cleaning - both important maintenance considerations. Finally, the element enables higher operating pressures to be achieved. The 'Fluidyne Atmos®' Flame Arrestor after extensive research has been certified and type tested by FCRI, B.V. and other government agencies, and has also received the most stringent approval for Flame Arrestors, incorporating extended burn time performance, and have acceptance with B.P.C.L, I.O.C.L, H.P.C.L, L & T , REL , RIL & B.H.E.L., and many chemical, pharmaceutical , power industries and petrochemical industries.

'Fluidyne Atmos®' Flame Arrestors are available for all common gas groupings to IEC or NEC codes, and supplied in a range of sizes/materials/options; Net Free Area - three to four times, Bank Assembly - extensible and removable. Special "off-set" housing design is not affected by condensate accumulation, even when installed in horizontal piping. The result is minimal pressure drop, increased flow capacity and heat dissipation. Ordering information is given below:
